Here are the Works In Progress!

What is a work in progress? Generally, it is a work which has been orchestrated and completed for the most part. The final editing which is basically a proof of the score (the actual written work) for instrument ranges, dynamics, extra or extraneous notation, etc. Sort of like a novel which has the story in place, but noone has gone and checked the spelling and grammar. So, although these may sound great, they are not quite finished yet.

DISCLAIMER: This music is synthesized and is best heard with a good sound card and a windows device that allows the playing of MIDI

Several ways to listen: First is through the Midi links below. Clicking on them will bring up (usually) Windows Media Player. A second way to listen is to go to http://playersparadise.net/ and listen to the works by Misha or Mishadoc. You will have to download the Yamaha MidRadio program in accordance with their licening agreements. A third way is to order the CD in the Contact Us page and the fourth way will be in a Symphony Hall, which I am hoping to be in at some point in my career. I have also added some MP3 samples under the meditation music in the Electrica Page. Enjoy!

EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC

What is the Lane Tech Mural Project? Essentially, it is going to be an effort to capture about twelve murals in music. You can go to the Lane Tech Web site and click on the tab for murals and you will see what I am talking about. In three years, Lane Tech will be celebrating 100 years of existence. It is absolutely the best school in the city of Chicago. (Students from Gordon Tech and Carl Schurz high school may argue with me, but I believe it is a feeble article at best.) The Lane Tech Mural Project is not sponsored by Lane Tech, nor is it sponsored by the Chicago Board of Education or any of its agents or affiliates. This is my contribution to a school that gave me so much. Whether or not the Mural Music is played at the celebration remains to be seen. What is important, is that I have committed to doing this without expectation of performance or payment. This is my service work, so to speak. A life without service work is not much of a life. Faith without Works is Dead!
